Finally: Visit with my brother Eisbaer in Colon
Since I had to cancel my visit in May because I was in heat we finally visited him at Sunday, June 13th ... Master, Mistress and I drove towards Colon at about 11.00 o'clock to meet my brother Eisbaer (Rhine-Side´s Ashley) and his family. There is nothing to write about the trip. Eisbaer´s human described the way so well we had no troubles. Only for the last bit we had to phone them for we could not make that out from looking at the map. A few minutes later we turned into a street and there they were. My brother Eisbaer and his family ...
The greeting was heartfelt and we did not feel as strangers (family ties hold true). Mistress was transported and said that Eisbaer and I could not deny being related. Eisi had grown to be a handsome Aussie male. Mistress had seen him when he was just 3.5 weeks old and had been interested in him. Just as well that I took matters in my paws. (How I choose my Mistress).
After the two-legged ones had put aside their first surges of happiness I followed Eisbaer in and that was fine with him. After some small talk the humans decided to go for a nice long walk in the woods to give Eisbaer and me room to zoom.
Well, we made a two-hour tour but I have to admit that I was not too interested in Eisbaer. But he wasn´t interested either. Since he seemed to know his way around we went ahead gaily, followed by our Mistresses. They were talking animatedly. The men following their women were having a nice conversation too (I think ?!)
Humans usually get hungry from a walk which Eisi´s family anticipated. Soon everything smelled heavenly from Bratwurst and meat from the barbecue. Eisi knows he will get something when it is time and lies down to wait. I know that too, but I did not want to wait for Master and Mistress to finish so I did every trick I knew ... I was successful of course and got a bit of Bratwurst, bread and tomato. I did not beg, I worked for my meal ...
After posing nicely for pictures it was time to bring Eisi´s horses in the stable. The highlight were the balls that Eisi´s human got pout for us. I don´t have to tell you how much fun we had with them ?! Eisi owns a swimming pool on the paddock, which we used after the exercise. The horses think it is their water trough. But Eisi has to know better, hasn´t he ??
